studioCODE was a combined urban design and digital architecture design studio run by staff at the Melbourne School of Design at the University of Melbourne's FABP. The studio set out an ambitious design and research agenda to improve the urban condition of the centre of Melbourne by programmatically intervening into currently vacant public spaces. The key themes were to develop hybridised programmes and scripted spaces that could be developed into convincing urban design proposals.
